  • Tera Girl ch. 2

    Another Christmas bonus! Over a year since the last chapter, I finally have not one, but two more chapters of Tera Girl, thanks to the awesome cleaning and typesetting skills of Migeru. Not only did she get six chapters of Himegoto done this month, but also this! I don’t know where I’d be without her. :) Anyway, this wraps up the first volume of Tera Girl, and hopefully with Migeru on board, I can get the other two volumes out in a much more timely manner.

    This is not a new project, but it is new to this blog. I’ve been translating this manga for almost six years now, but since I was doing it as part of another group, for some reason I just didn’t think to post it here… But having almost lost all those translations I did for Kotonoha, I’ve been thinking I want to mirror everything here that I translate, so since we have a new chapter to release, it seemed like a good opportunity to do that!

    If you haven’t read this series yet, it is a favorite of mine and I do recommend it. The first eight volumes were translated by a different group, JanimeS, which has now disappeared from the web, so I’ve uploaded those volumes as well.

    So…this is kind of a surprise comeback, but I was approached by Butcher of Anima Regia, and asked if they could use my translation to do a Brazilian Portuguese version, and then also offered to do cleaning/typesetting for the English version as well. I hesitated at first because I really don’t want to overload myself, but I feel like I’m doing pretty good keeping on top of things lately, and I already had chapter two translated over a year ago when I was working on it with Kidu, so…I decided to give it another shot!
