   thanks so much for this. a truly beautiful chapter that had me tearing up repeatedly. will be sad to see this end (probably won’t be a happy ending!) – nakamura-san is a genius in every sense of the word – giving us a look into a story this dark and showing there is ecstasy even for the damned.

   as a side note: myanimelist lists this as having 36 chapters. is their info wrong or are there 2 chapters that are side stories maybe (and if so, will you be translating them)?

      After much googling, it appears there are two collections of mini comics set when they were in school. It’s listed on her website, but when I tried to purchase it, I just got an error saying the file no longer exists. :(

   thanks kindly for the quick update! i’m kind of an autist with regards to being a completionist, but at least we get to read the full tale as it was written thanks to your years of excellence. any chance you will be working on any of nakamura’s other works? i noticed to my sadness that none of it has been translated and would love to read more of her stuff.

      Like Gunjo, most of her older works are not available in ebook form and after the pain of scanning and cleaning Gunjo I have forever sworn off old fashioned scanning and will now only work from ebooks lol.

      But! She does have some recent stuff that is available on kindle and in particular there’s a personal essay manga called Okaasan Futari Itemo Ii ka na? which piqued my interest.

      With Gunjo and Love Buzz ending this month/next month (both are translated and just waiting for typesetting) and Hibari’s Morning ending by the end of the year, I am looking to pick up at least one new project, so maybe that will be it.
