<\/p>\nToday I have two very different manga for you. First off is a series I only discovered myself recently, but got totally hooked on and now consider it one of my favorite ongoing series: You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead by Hiyodori Sachiko.<\/p>\n
It follows Kishida Jun, a boy who can see ghosts and seems to have a knack for getting himself into terrifying situations. Aside from a few two-parters, each chapter is a stand-alone story.<\/p>\n
The second is the next chapter of Gunjo, which also happens to be the second-to-last chapter of volume 2, which means we’re just about two-thirds of the way through this story! Although I have had volume three sitting on my desk for a couple years now, I have not read ahead, so I’m just as much in the dark as you all as to how it ends.<\/p>\n

Title:<\/b> You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead Summary:<\/b> Sickly Kishida Jun has the ability to see ghosts, but in his opinion, it’s a stupid power and nothing good ever comes of it. Considering the number of grisly situations he seems to find himself in after the ghost of his childhood friend Hayakawa Ryoko starts following him around, he may have a point.<\/p>\n Chapter Summary:<\/b> After a visit to the nurse’s office, Kishida notices the ghost of his missing classmate Hayakawa Ryoko is following him. He doesn’t really want to get involved, but they were childhood friends, after all, so he should probably investigate what happened to her…<\/p>\n Chapter 1: The Disappearance of Hayakawa Ryoko<\/a><\/p>\n Title:<\/b> Gunjo Summary:<\/b> Out of desperation, a woman asks an old high school friend to kill her abusive husband for her. The friend, having long been in love with this woman, does it, and now they are on the run from the law.<\/p>\n Chapter Summary:<\/b> The brunette realizes the blonde read her letter and confronts her about it.<\/p>\n
