Status Update

Hey, guys! I should have new chapters of Yasha, Himegoto, and Gunjo within the next few days, and Tera Girl hopefully early next month.

Gunjo might be on a little slower schedule after this next release, though, because chapter 14 marks the last of the raws I had from Kotonoha, so for the rest of volume 2 and all of volume 3, I’ll have to scan it myself, which adds an extra step.

I’m also considering what (if anything) I should start on now that A Child’s Child is over. I have a bunch of stuff in my “possible projects” folder, as well as stuff that I don’t have raws of and would have to scan myself. Some of the titles I’m thinking about are Anna-san no Omame, Bond, G.I.D., or Love Buzz. (If you have any preferences among those, let me know!)

As for the projects I was working on with Kidu, All Out and Baby, Kokoro no Mama ni, I’m sure you’ve noticed it’s been a long time since we got the first chapters out. Unfortunately Kidu seems to be too busy with real life stuff to work on scanlations now, so I have no idea when, if ever, those series will be continued. :(

I think that’s it update-wise!

However, I do have one more thing… At the end of the month, I need to pay my hosting bill for this website, so if you have any money you can spare, please consider donating.

    Great! I’m looking out for Gunjo, I have a question tho. Does any of you have Kotonoha’s releases of Gunjo saved? I PC broke so I lost the whole volumen and I really want the original scans. Thank you!

      I was able to find a torrent of the first volume and uploaded it to my own server when I started translating volume two, just so people could still access it. It’s over here! (I believe it’s also up on batoto for online reading.)

        I was totally joking, sorry about that. My friend just came out as a trans a few weeks ago (at the age 40+) so I’ve been talking alot about this lately. I’ve been trying to explain all the controversial topics of the LGBTQ-world but luckily she’s the ignorant not easily upset non theoretical type so it been kind of explaining all these things and getting a “…so?” response. ;)

    If you’re looking for new projects to start, I’m just curious what you are interested in?

    Of the 4 mentioned, I’d probably be the most interested in GID…

      Well, my taste is pretty broad, so pretty much anything is potentially interesting to me. Though for the purposes of scanlating, I’m really only interested in doing short series (under 10 volumes, but preferably even shorter than that).

      For now, though, I think I need to just concentrate on the series I’m working on. At least until things settle down at work and I have more energy to devote to stuff like this. It’s always tempting to take on new series, but I don’t want to overextend myself.

    I know this post is super old, and I know you are working on quite a few projects right now, but I’d been meaning to ask if G.I.D. was something you might still circle back around to? I know the series is probably pretty dated at this point (even the title itself is an obsolete classification), but I’m kinda curious bc I’ve seen a lot of manga about transfeminine issues but very few about transmasculine ones.

      It’s possible. I just checked and the manga is available in ebook form (I don’t want to do anything I have to physically scan anymore lol). But it’s pretty low priority.
