Summary: Out of desperation, a woman asks an old high school friend to kill her abusive husband for her. The friend, having long been in love with this woman, does it, and now they are on the run from the law.

Chapter Summary: Having thrown away all their money when they decided to turn themselves in, the two women now find themselves in an even worse situation after changing their minds and running away from the cops. It’s a cold, rainy night and they can’t seem to find so much as a bench with an overhang under which to rest.

      Yeah, I just saw that myself when I was getting ready to post this. :( The last few times I had talked to Nomad Soul, he just said that family/work stuff was taking up too much of his time and he didn’t have time for scanlating anymore. At first he kept hoping to get back to it, but when he gave me permission to continue Gunjo (and any of our other joint projects) a couple months ago, he said that he would not be having time for it in the foreseeable future. So I don’t know if the website is down on purpose because of that or it’s just a coincidence…

    When I saw the update on Gunjo the first thing that came to mind was “NO WAY!”
    I admit I never thought that someone would pick this up anytime soon, but you did, and THANK YOU!
    Sadly, being thankful is the only thing about now that I can do to show my apreciation and support, and again, Thank you.

    It’s hard to find a manga like this one, either you love it, or you hate it, it’s heavy, weird, funny, awkard, hard…

      I appreciate your comments so much! Even if it is the “only” support you can offer, it means a lot to me. I really didn’t know what to expect after such a long hiatus, so I’m really thrilled at how many people have been commenting to say they’re glad to see Gunjo back. :)

    I’ve just checked Kotonoha and it’s completely inaccessible now.Too bad all the good scanlation groups slowly absent.I really hope you will stay back :(. ( Just few years ago, I wept so much when Storm in Heaven gone )

    Thank you so very much! With Kotonoha apparently out of the picture, I had no hope of ever seeing Gunjou resumed. Good yuri (or yaoi, for that matter) are very hard to find, so I’m always glad when one of the few gems out there gets recognised for its worth and picked up.

      Yeah, I kept hoping he would be able to work on it again, which is why I waited so long to start working on it myself. But it looks like he’s not coming back any time soon (if ever), so I’m glad he said it was okay for me to take over (I would have felt bad just doing it without asking, even if he hasn’t been around for so long).

    sooo happy this was picked up again. it’s hard to find great yuri and gunjou is my absolute favorite, especially with it being about adults who look like adults and multichapter no less. very happy that someone picked it up again thank you!
